<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>We have an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join the group of Prof Xuetao Cao and Prof Tao Dong based in the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS) Oxford Institute (COI).</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The study involves interdisciplinary collaborative research into De novo design of IL-2 mimics by deep learning and &#8220;Me-better&#8221; IL-2 mimics in T cell-based immunotherapy.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be responsible to manage your own academic research and administrative activities and to generate and to keep records of all experimental results. You will adapt existing and develop new scientific techniques and experimental protocols. You will also test hypotheses and analyse scientific data from a variety of sources, reviewing and refining working hypotheses as appropriate, identifying and troubleshooting technical or scientific problems. Act as a source of information and advice to other members of the group on scientific protocols and experimental techniques will be among your responsibilities.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>It is essential that you hold a relevant PhD/DPhil (or close to completion) in biomedicine, biomedical engineering, computer science or a related field, together with sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work with deep learning techniques. You will have evidence of experience in the handling of biomedical data and the ability to manage own academic research and associated activities.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Applications for this vacancy are to be made online and you will be required to upload a supporting statement and CV as part of your online application.
