<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>The Department of Politics and International Relations (DPIR) in association with Nuffield College is recruiting to the post of John G Winant Associate Professor in US Foreign Policy to start from 1 September 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter. Applications are invited from outstanding candidates with research and teaching expertise in any major aspect of American foreign policy and of the role of the United States in world politics. The field is open to those who approach this subject broadly.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The successful candidate will be required to carry out advanced research in the field and to contribute to graduate and undergraduate teaching in International Relations, including, amongst other things, delivery of a graduate course on US Foreign Policy and of the role of the United States in world politics, undergraduate teaching on US foreign policy, to contribute to graduate research design and methods teaching; to supervise graduate students; and to participate in academic administration, examining and assessment, the admission of students to the Department and College, and in the governance of the Department and the College.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The post will be held in conjunction with a Non-Tutorial, Professorial Fellowship at Nuffield College.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>If you would like to discuss this post and find out more about joining the academic community at Oxford, please contact Petra Schleiter, Joint Head of Department at DPIR (<a rel="nofollow" href="mailto:petra.schleiter@politics.ox.ac.uk">petra.schleiter@politics.ox.ac.uk</a>).
