<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>The Oxford Sustainable Law Programme (SLP) is looking for a talented legal researcher to join our team for a period of 6 months.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The successful applicant will support our team in conducting research on legal limits to dependence on CO2 removal in state climate policy. The postholder will work with the project team to conduct research on the extent to which states are depending on CO2 removal to meet their climate goals, and the extent to which this dependence is consistent with international legal principles. The researcher will support the team by conducting innovative and interdisciplinary legal research, and assisting with science and policy analysis and drafting manuscripts for publication.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will hold a Masters&#8217; degree in law. You will possess sufficient expertise in international (environmental) law to conduct research mapping legal principles to risks associated with CO2 removal. The successful applicant will have evidence of experience in legal research projects. They will be self-starting, proactive, able to work independently, and able to manage own academic research and associated activities.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Applications are particularly welcome and encouraged from women, black, and minority ethnic candidates, who are under-represented in posts in SoGE.
