**EnSpire Engagement Specialist **

**Grade 7 (fixed term until 31 July 2025)**

The EnSpire Oxford team sits within the Innovation & Engagement (I&E) team in
Research Services – I&E provides support for activities such as IP management
and commercialisation, enterprise and entrepreneurship, public engagement with
research, and engagement with businesses, society, community and regional
economic development organisations. The team leads the delivery of the
University Knowledge Exchange Strategy and supports Oxford’s innovation
ecosystem.
Research Services is one of the key Professional Services Department
supporting Oxford’s research and innovation community. Our values include

**About the Role**
As the EnSpire’s Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for providing
data and engagement support across all of EnSpire’s workstreams, with a focus
on collecting, comparing and analysing entrepreneurship data and create
reporting mechanisms which can benefit the broader Oxford entrepreneurial
ecosystem. Other responsibilities include organising, delivering and
evaluating EnSpire events (and supporting IDEA activities); implementing
initiatives and monitoring improvements; liaising with internal and external
stakeholders; and Identifying and benchmarking standards across university
entrepreneurship.
**About You**
To be successful in this varied and interesting role you will have the
knowledge, intellectual capacity, reasoning and analytical skills of a
graduate or equivalent, be a highly-motivated person with strong data
analysis, organisational, and communication skills, have experience in
delivering entrepreneurship initiatives and/or impactful engagement
activities, and the drive to deal with a packed agenda and new opportunities.
