**About the role**
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Postdoctoral scientist with a
strong immunology background to take up a Postdoctoral position in Prof Ling-
Pei Ho's Translational Lung Immunology group, TIDU
(https://www.imm.ox.ac.uk/research/units-and-centres/mrc-translational-immune-
discovery-unit). The successful candidate will join a programme on immune
mechanisms of lung fibrosis and alveolar regeneration in chronic lung
fibrosis, with emphasis on single nuclear/cell technologies and analyses. The
Postdoctoral scientist will focus on completing the single nuclear analyses
with a dedicated computational biologist and accompanying functional in vivo
and organoid studies to validate in silico findings in murine lung injury
model. There is scope to broaden the work to examine integrative network of
immune and structural cells in lung tissue from patients with idiopathic
pulmonary fibrosis using hi- plex imaging mass cytometry and spatial analyses
(see Weeratunga P Nat Commun 2023).

The Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine (NDM) is one of the largest
departments of the University of Oxford and is part of the Medical Sciences
Division, with responsibility for a significant part of the teaching of
clinical students within the Medical School.

**About You**
To be considered for this position you should hold a relevant PhD/DPhil (or
close to submission) which provides a strong immunology background.
You should have high level flow cytometry experience with ability to use and
analyse multi-colour flow data and experience in tissue culture.
