<div>Are you the Linux Engineer we’re looking for?  We need someone to join us in delivering and maintaining the IT infrastructure that underpins world-leading, vaccine-producing, life-changing, medical research and teaching at the University of Oxford.</div><br>
<div>If you are highly motived and experienced, we invite you to apply for this pivotal role in managing our large and complex Linux, storage and networking estate. Our infrastructure supports around 6,000 people across the city of Oxford. We are currently on a journey to replace, renew and rebuild various services and infrastructure using Ansible and other similar technologies.</div><br>

<div>You should have:</div><br>
<div>•         Advanced Linux and general IT infrastructure expertise including design and delivery</div><br>
<div>•         Some coding experience, ideally in Python, and an excellent command line ability</div><br>
<div>•         A good understanding of cybersecurity</div><br>
<div>•         A positive can-do attitude</div><br>
<div>•         Experience or willingness to learn Ansible, Git, or similar</div><br>
