<div>The Department of Social Policy and Intervention wishes to appoint a full-time Departmental Lecturer in Comparative Social Policy. This is an excellent opportunity to join a vibrant research centre and contribute to the continuing growth of teaching and research in the field of Comparative Social Policy and Social Policy Analysis in international comparison.</div><br>

<div>The Departmental Lecturer will primarily be involved in the delivery of teaching, supervision and examining on MSc and MPhil courses in Comparative Social Policy. They may also be required to undertake other administrative roles within the department, and there will be some time for the candidate to develop their research agenda.</div><br>

<div><strong>About you</strong></div><br>
<div>You will hold, or be close to completion of, a doctorate relevant to Comparative Social Policy (e.g. public policy, social policy, political science or sociology), experience of teaching and research in the field and knowledge of a range of analytical techniques and methods. You will be able to teach, supervise and assess high-achieving graduate students from diverse cultural backgrounds; you will have experience of working as a part of a team with excellent oral and written communication skills.</div><br>

<div>Research and teaching specialisation in the social policy areas of political economy of social policy, healthcare, social policy and the environment, immigration and/or housing would be desirable.</div><br>

<div>This is a fixed-term post for two years.  </div><br>
