Based within NDPH, The China Kadoorie Biobank (CKB) Study is a uniquely rich and powerful global resource for investigating the environmental and genetic determinants of common chronic diseases.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>We are looking for a Data Wrangler to support to support the day to day operations of the team. The role will include elements of Data Engineering, Data Curation, and Data Analysis. Duties will include integrating and managing vast amount of complex data, investigating and resolving data issues. The successful applicant will work closely with a multi-discipline team of software developers, systems testers, epidemiologists, statisticians, clinicians, and administrative staff to ensure smooth continuation and expansion of the study.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>To be considered for the Data Wrangler role, you will have a BSc in a scientific or numerate subject and have technical competency, including the ability to use a progamming language.&#160; You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong reasoning and numeracy skills.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The position is full time (part time considered) and fixed term for 2 years in the first instance.&#160; The closing date for applications is noon on Monday 15 July 2024.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be required to upload a CV and Supporting Statement as part of your online application. The Supporting Statement should include a cover letter and should also clearly describe how you meet each of the selection criteria listed in the job description.</div> </div>
