<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>We are seeking a Research Assistant to join Professor Adrian Hill&#8217;s research group at the Jenner Institute, Nuffield Department of Medicine.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Professor Adrian Hill&#8217;s research group has developed several new candidate vaccines for malaria. As part of this research group, you will perform immunological assays to measure responses induced by such vaccines in Phase I, II and III vaccine trials in Oxford.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be responsible for performing high standard research work and participating in the research programme to develop vaccines for malaria. You will undertake clinical trials immunology and administration in accordance with GCP standard, as well as analyse data and present them to the Senior Immunologist and wider group. You will also be responsible for coordinating lab-based aspects of clinical trials including trial preparation, writing SOPs, management and processing of clinical trials samples.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>To be successful in this role, you will hold a BSc degree in a relevant biological subject along with experience or a keen interest in learning, a statistical software package (such as Stata or R) or coding. You will have the ability to manage large datasets and to undertake laboratory work to GCP and HTA. Excellent organisational and communication skills, including the ability to write text that can be published, present data at conferences, and represent the research group at meetings and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Applications for this vacancy are to be made online and you will be required to upload a supporting statement and CV as part of your online application.
