An opportunity within the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, and
Oxford Martin School as a Postdoctoral research associate “Rethinking Natural
Resources”.





The successful candidate will be a part of the Oxford Martin School’s
Rethinking Natural Resources Programme. Through a case study of the Caribbean
Island of Montserrat and potentially other Caribbean islands the programme
aims to develop innovative approaches to rethink natural resources.





To be considered for the role you will hold a relevant (Geography, Law,
Economics, etc.) PhD/DPhil (Grade 7) or be close to completion (Grade 6),
together with relevant research experience. You will have experience of
research methodologies that explore extractive resource governance. An ability
to manage own academic research and associated activities is essential. You
will need to show excellent written and oral communication skills.
