We have an exciting opportunity to join our team on a 4-month secondment on
the Improving Wireless Programme as Wireless Administrative Support. This is a
full-time post working on-site within Oxford.





The Improving Wireless Programme seeks to improve wireless provision across
the University by rolling out the Managed Wireless Service. The programme has
funding from Digital Transformation for a pilot through to the end of 2024.





The Wireless Administrative Support role is important within the Programme and
the successful candidate will be responsible for engagement and eliciting data
from University Colleagues, third party suppliers and ensuring implementation
activities are scheduled for Wireless Engineers and installation specialists.







**About the role**



The successful candidate will report to the Implementation Manager and will be
responsible for contacting stakeholders, responding to queries within the
programme’s mailbox, scheduling meetings and on-site visits with stakeholders,
preparing and storing Wi-Fi information specific to customer requirements,
updating delivery status within Azure DevOps, coordinating the distribution
and installation of equipment at various locations, and supporting minute
taking at Programme Board meetings. You must also have an excellent eye for
detail and have experience of working within a Higher Education environment.
