The laboratory is developing novel anti-inflammatory therapeutics for type 1 diabetes and heart disease using peptides developed from ticks. The projects are funded by awards from Diabetes UK and the British Heart Foundation.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The successful candidate will provide molecular biology technical support to ensure the smooth running of the project and will assist and report to post-doctoral research assistants managing the project.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The successful candidate will hold a Bachelors in an appropriate subject area or HND in Biomedical Science, have an experience in one or more techniques in molecular, protein and cell biology in line with the duties of the posts, as outlined in the Job Description.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div><strong>Application Process</strong></div><br> <div>Applications for this vacancy are to be made online.
