dedicated to fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, innovation and
engagement with research. The department supports researchers and
entrepreneurs in developing and implementing strategies that promote
entrepreneurship, knowledge exchange and public engagement. By collaborating
with local authorities, industry partners, communities and the public, and
academic colleagues, the department aims to make Oxfordshire a top global
innovation ecosystem, ensuring that the University's research and
entrepreneurial activities have a significant impact on society.

**About the Role**





As the EnSpire Stakeholder Manager (Diversity in Entrepreneurship), you will
be pivotal in advancing equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within the
University of Oxford’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. You will lead stakeholder
engagement and oversee the project management of the Increasing Diversity in
Enterprising Activities (IDEA) programme. Working closely with various
internal and external stakeholders, including the IDEA Advisory Group, EnSpire
Oxford Group, Equality & Diversity Unit (EDU), and Oxford University
Innovation (OUI), you will ensure the successful implementation of EDI
initiatives. You will also provide advice to early-stage startups, helping
students and staff to begin their entrepreneurial journeys.





You will be a key member of the Innovation & Engagement Team in Research
Services, responsible for developing and executing strategies to foster a more
inclusive environment for under-represented groups. This includes organising
events, providing expert advice, and making recommendations to enhance the
University’s support for diverse entrepreneurs. Your proactive and innovative
approach to problem-solving will be essential in generating impactful
solutions that align with the University’s EDI goals.





In this role, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with internal
and external stakeholders, act as a key contact and liaison for the IDEA
programme, and facilitate collaboration between various departments,
faculties, and external partners. You will oversee the planning,
implementation, and evaluation of IDEA initiatives, manage resources and
budgets effectively, and provide regular updates and reports to senior
management. Your ability to communicate the activities and outputs of the IDEA
programme to stakeholders and promote the programme within the University and
beyond will be crucial to your success.





**About You**





You will build strong interpersonal relationships, with the ability to
influence others. You will have proven experience in entrepreneurship support
and in managing EDI initiatives. You will be a strong project manager, with
the ability to oversee complex projects, and can communicate effectively, both
in writing and verbally, with the ability to engage a variety of audiences.





You will be able to organise and manage events successfully, work
independently and as part of a team, taking initiative as needed, and manage
budgets and resources effectively. It would be beneficial, but not essential,
if you understand the University research and knowledge exchange environment,
are familiar with the Oxford University ecosystem, can review and report data
and associated analytics, and are proficient in using project management tools
