Laboratory manager

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>We are seeking a full time Laboratory Manager to join Professor Ares&#8217; research group at the Department of Engineering Science (Central Oxford). This post is externally funded and is fixed term for 1 year. &#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will have responsibility for the oversight of two laboratories with 4 dilution refrigerators, involving approximately 9 graduate students and 4 postdoctoral researchers. The successful candidate will ensure that all procedures carried out in the space and on the equipment provided adhere to protocols, as appropriate, and are correctly documented. You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the three dilution refrigerators and schedule pro-active annual preventative maintenance. You will run health checks, &#8220;O&#8221; ring seal inspections, an perform remedial work to ensure optimal system performance.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You should hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Physics, Materials Science, Engineering or a related area together with relevant experience.
