Laboratory Manager

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>Secondment candidates welcome for this role.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The Ineos Oxford Institute for Antimicrobial Research (IOI) is an exciting initiative creating major new opportunities for science and advances in human health, and now aims to recruit a pro-active and motivated Laboratory Manager to join the Ineos-Oxford Institute for Antimicrobial Resistance (IOI). This role is being offered as an 8-month maternity cover which is available immediately and will run until October 2025.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The post holder will be responsible for managing the day-to-day laboratory coordination for the Ineos-Oxford Institute in the Biology department, ensuring effective delivery of research while maintaining laboratory space and assets.</div><br> <div>As the new Life and Mind Building (LaMB) takes shape, this role will play a key part in the planning and coordination of the new laboratory space in preparation for an anticipated move during 2025.</div><br> <div>With proven experience in laboratory and facilities management, the role holder will line manage a team consisting of laboratory technicians and an Assistant Laboratory Manager, to ensure effective delivery of research.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The University of Oxford is committed to equality and valuing diversity.
