<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div><strong>About the role</strong></div><br> <div>The Department of Social Policy and Intervention is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to join a research team lead by Prof Jane Barlow working primarily on the development and implementation of a multidisciplinary research network focused on the developmental recovery of traumatised infants.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The role will involve providing both research and administrative support to a small research team, who have been funded to set up the above network including working with an international group of stakeholders, identification of research priorities, undertaking a scoping search of the literature, setting up and maintaining a webpage, sharing knowledge, and organising in-person and virtual workshops and conferences.&#160; There will also be opportunities to contribute to the direction of the network, engage in the writing of grant applications, and prepare academic papers for publication.&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div><strong>About you</strong></div><br> <div>You will be required to manage your own workload flexibly with appropriate support, including juggling a number of different tasks, as required.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will have a good understanding of and interest in improving outcomes, particularly for disadvantaged groups, across the perinatal period.&#160; You will be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and you will have strong communication and organisational skills.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The Department is committed to fostering an environment of equality, diversity and inclusion.
