Head of Capacity Building and Partnerships, Oxford Sustainable Finance Group & Deputy Director, Public and Third Sector Academy for Sustainable Finance

We are looking to recruit a new senior member of the Oxford Sustainable
Finance Group to build a world-leading pipeline of capacity building and
training programmes on all aspects of sustainable finance for clients and
stakeholders around the world, working closely with the Director and the
Senior Management Team. This is a highly impactful role where you will be
helping influential decision-makers around the world to green finance and
financial decision-making. Your work will impact the future direction of
financial institutions, financial and regulatory practice, and how policy and
civil society shape the financial system to support the implementation of the
Paris Agreement, UN SDGs and the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity
Framework.
You will be a self-starter comfortable developing a wide range of courses,
including open-enrolment, bespoke, online, and in-person, covering different
levels of seniority (from boards and senior management to new graduates),
types of client (from financial institutions to civil society), and
geographies.
You will rapidly develop and implement effective partnerships and help to
bring in significant new funding. You will act as team leader, setting clear
task objectives, developing productive working relations and line-managing the
other members of the team. You will contribute to their development through
induction, appraisal, and coaching.
The successful candidate must be educated to Masters level or equivalent work
experience. The post is full-time for 36 months (with possible extension
depending on funding approval)
