The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world renowned
population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for
multi-disciplinary research and teaching.
We are seeking a Senior Research Fellow - Health Outcomes Team Lead for UK
Biobank with experience in the use of electronic health data for large-scale
epidemiological research, to develop and lead a programme of work focused on
enhancing the classification of health outcome data in the UK Biobank
resource. You will also be responsible for managing research budgets, prepare
funding applications, create research articles and help investigate new data
sources.
To be considered, you will hold a PhD/DPhil/MD in public health or
epidemiology, or a related discipline, have significant relevant research
experience in epidemiology or data science, have a national or international
reputation in your area of expertise, experience of developing and leading a
research team and collaborative research programme, excellent communication
skills and willingness to travel.
This is a full time, fixed term post (part time considered) for 3 years or
until 30 June 2027, whichever is soonest.
