Translational Research Coordinator
**Internal Applications Only - Secondment Opportunity**
The Medical Sciences Division Translational Research Office (TRO) works across
the University to identify new translational projects addressing unmet medical
need, to drive the development of robust project plans and to secure
additional project funding. The TRO is seeking to recruit one Translational
Research Coordinator to support and maintain an ever-expanding pipeline of
biomedical translation opportunities.
Candidates will be confident self-starters with an understanding of the
research, translation and innovation processes in the biomedical and
healthcare sectors. With research or project management experience, the post-
holder will work under the leadership of the Head of the Translational
Research Office to provide long-term management of an ever-expanding portfolio
of translational research projects, engaging stakeholder expertise where
appropriate and providing administrative, operational and relationship
management support. They will support the delivery of existing translational
research programmes such as the Oxford Medical and Life Sciences Translational
Fund and the Experts in Residence scheme to strengthen the design of
translational projects.
In this diverse and interesting role you will be liaising with a broad range
of stakeholders including the Oxford research community, Oxford University
Innovations, Oxford Sciences Enterprise, public funding bodies, Charities, and
industry partners.
