This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of behavioural economics and finance, contributing to high-impact projects under the guidance of Professor Pedro Bordalo, the Principal Investigator.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>As a Research Assistant, you will be a key member of both the Finance, Accounting, Management and Economics (FAME) research group and Behavioural Research UK (BR-UK) &#8211; a national leadership hub funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) as part of UKRI. The research explores how cognitive mechanisms such as attention and memory shape economic beliefs and preferences, influencing market behaviour and decision-making.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>This role involves managing large-scale datasets, reviewing literature and contributing to academic publications. You&#8217;ll be actively engaged in shaping the future of behavioural policy by working on projects that aim to inform the design of incentives and regulations, including collaborations with UK policy-setting organisations.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Key responsibilities:</div><br> <ul><br> <li>Identify and apply appropriate analytical methods</li><br> <li>Conduct comprehensive literature reviews</li><br> <li>Contribute to academic publications, book chapters and reviews</li><br> <li>Support the organisation of seminars, workshops and conferences</li><br> <li>Manage day-to-day administrative activities</li><br> </ul><br> <div>You will hold a Bachelor&#8217;s degree (or equivalent) and/or be nearing completion of a Master&#8217;s in Economics, Computer Science or a related discipline. You must possess strong quantitative and data analysis skills, with proven programming experience in Stata, SAS or MATLAB.
