You will engage with members of the department, supporting them, and the financial systems and processes that they rely upon. &#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div><strong>About the apprenticeship</strong></div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>As part of this role, you will undertake an Apprenticeship with Abingdon &amp; Witney College, where you will complete Level 2 and Level 3 of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Professional Diploma in Accounting.&#160;</div><br> <div>For this apprenticeship, you will work at the Biology department in 11a Mansfield Road, Oxford, OX2 3SZ. As part of your apprenticeship, you will be required to attend Abingdon &amp; Witney College 1 day per week during term time. During your apprenticeship, you will need to attend 11a Mansfield Road, Oxford, on non-college days.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>In total, it will take 24 months to complete all elements of the apprenticeship, with support from the Department, University, and College throughout.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Practical training period of 18 months plus 3 months for End Point Assessment. The practical period includes an initial fast-track L2 AAT certificate for the first 6 months, followed by the L3 AAT from July 2024-July 2025 and then EPA for 3 months.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>WITNEY CAMPUS ONLY &#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Becoming an apprentice at the University of Oxford is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and training. You may be starting your career or you may be looking for a career change. &#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>To complete the apprenticeship you will need to evidence passes at 9-4 or A*-C in GCSE Maths and English<br> <br>Please note that Abingdon &amp; Witney College will ask you to complete a short initial assessment during the application process for all candidates, regardless of prior qualifications.
