Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health) contains
world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent
environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching.
We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Cancer
Epidemiology Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing
and implementing statistical analyses in both prospective and case-series
studies, cross-sectional analyses, the analysis of -omics data (including
metabolomics and proteomics data) and Mendelian randomization analyses.
To be considered for the role you will be educated to a relevant PhD/DPhil (or
be close to completion), ideally in molecular epidemiology, medical
statistics, population health, or other relevant quantitative area. Experience
of a range of statistical and molecular concepts and analysis techniques and
demonstrated expertise in programming languages, including R and/or Python are
essential for this post. Experience in the analyses of questionnaire,
biomarker, dietary, genetic and molecular data would be desirable.
This is a full time post (part-time would be considered) for 3 years.
