**About the Role**





As a Data Architect, you'll play a vital role in a wide range of IT and
business change projects, identifying solutions to key data challenges. You
will:





* Model and describe data to enable more effective, efficient operations, and inform decision-making.


* Collaborate with creative and dedicated colleagues to improve data management, access, usage and governance.


* Communicate with colleagues from many seniority levels and backgrounds.


* Bring clarity to complex problems and steer stakeholders towards the most effective and strategic outcomes.


* Bring both an eye for detail and an enterprise-wide perspective, ensuring that the projects you work on are aligned with the University’s strategic data-related objectives.






**About You**





We're seeking a Data Architect with:





* Proven data analysis experience in complex business applications and integrations.


* Strong knowledge of data structures, theories, principles, and practices.


* Experience in gathering and documenting data-related requirements from both business users and technical colleagues.


* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.


* Self-motivation, creative problem-solving skills, and excellent organizational abilities.


* Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills.
