Programme Manager: NIHR Mental Health Translational Research Collaboration

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>We are looking to appoint a Programme Manager to join the NIHR Mental Health Translational Research Collaboration (MH-TRC) &#160; .&#160;&#160; You will be reporting to Dr Julie Bieles, MH-TRC Manager and will be based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital, Oxford.&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; The post is full time; however, consideration would be given to candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 80% FTE) on a pro-rata basis. &#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The post is for a fixed term (funded to 31 January 2028).&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will report to, and work closely with, the MH-TRC Manager to monitor delivery of the agreed objectives for MHM workstreams and demonstrator sites, including day to day coordination and acting as a point of contract between the NHIR and MH-TRC.&#160;&#160;You will assist the MH-TRC Chair and MH-TRC Manager with progress reports and any other ad hoc reporting requests throughout the year and will deputise for the MH-TRC Manager in their absence.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be educated to degree standard or equivalent in a biomedical discipline with project management experience and evidence of delivering project outputs.&#160;&#160; With a high level of competence in IT and especially in spreadsheet, database, and relevant scientific, management and presentational software, you should have an excellent standard of written and communication skills, and excellent presentational skills.&#160; Experience of working with academic research collaborations, commercial partners, and/or research funders would be desirable as would experience of working in either a higher education or research institution.&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be required to upload a covering letter/supporting statement and a CV as part of your application</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The closing date for this post is 12.00 midday 20th October 2023</div> </div>
