<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>We are seeking to appoint an organised, efficient, and pro-active individual to join our Research Support team.&#160;</div><br> <div>The post holder will work closely with the Strategic Research Manager and other members of the Divisional Office focusing on research funding and research administration. This position is a hybrid post offered for 2-year in the first instance.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>This is a varied role through which the post holder will gain an understanding of research across the full breadth of the MPLS Division. You will support the management and administration of internal research funding schemes (e.g. the John Fell Fund); and internal &#8216;sift&#8217; processes for external funding opportunities where there is a cap on the number of applications that the Division or University can submit. You will work closely with senior academics and administrators, with colleagues in other Divisional Offices, professional support functions and with key contacts at external funding partners (e.g. EPSRC).</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The successful candidate will be educated to degree-level or equivalent, have demonstrable administrative experience, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. You should also have the ability to liaise effectively with a range of people, at all levels, within and beyond the University. You will be able to take a calm and organised approach, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail, whilst operating within a busy environment to meet deadlines.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The post is available immediately and the team are based in the Robert Hooke Building (OX1 3PR) in the centre of Oxford.</div><br> <div>Applications must be made online.
