<p></p><div>Applications are invited for a Research Communications Officer to work as part of the department’s Communication team to promote our world-leading research in primary care health sciences. Our research is led by internationally renowned scientists; many of whom are practising GPs, but we also have academics from a range of non-medical disciplines including the social sciences and humanities.</div><br>

<div>The role will work closely with research teams across the department to identify and maximise communication opportunities. Responsibilities will include delivering aspects of the department’s communications strategy, in collaboration with the Head of Communications and Communications Manager.</div><br>

<div>You will have a back ground in communications with a proven track record of developing, delivering and evaluating communications activity across a range of media. Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and the ability to inspire the confidence of senior colleagues are essential, as well as excellent writing skills and attention to detail.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>You will be based in the Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work but you will be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager.</div><br>
