<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><p>This role will contribute to the successful running of the growing portfolio of trials managed by the Experimental Medicine and Rheumatology (EMR) trials group within Oxford Clinical Trials Research Unit (OCTRU), based in the Botnar Research Centre, Headington, Oxford.</p><br> <p>Under the guidance of senior staff and/or trial manager , you will take responsibility for the coordination of areas of trial management such as site set up, site management, data management and site closure activities and will be the key point of contact for participating sites for these activities. You will also provide support by undertaking tasks such as central monitoring; drafting and submitting amendments; databases testing and management of user accounts. You will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision across a number of trials within the group and to provide cover for periods of absence of Trial Manager(s). You may line manage and/or provide training for junior trial staff.</p><br> <p>You will be educated to at least A-Level standard or hold equivalent qualifications/experience and have previous experience in trial coordination, administration or support role. You will have knowledge of UK clinical research structures, regulatory and ethical systems, and experience of working to a high standard of Good Clinical Practice. Effective organisational skills including the ability to prioritise workload, be adaptable to changing priorities, a critical and intelligent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy is also essential. Experience of data management relating to research participants is desirable.</p><br> <p>This post is offered full-time, although part time (minimum of 60% FTE) would be considered.</p><br> <p>It is a fixed term appointment for 12 months.</p><br> <p>A mixture of office and remote working can be agreed.</p><br> <p>The closing date for this position is 12 noon on 11/10/2023</p><br> <p>Interviews are expected to take place on Wednesday 18th October 2023.</p><br> <p>You will be required to upload a CV and supporting statement as part of your online application.</p><br> <p>Informal enquiries can be directed to anne.francis@ndorms.ox.ac.uk.</p> </div>
