<div>In this exciting new role, you will be at the forefront of our Environmental Sustainability team, driving forward our vision of achieving Net Zero Carbon and Net Gain in Biodiversity by 2035. Your responsibilities will include:</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>•      Developing and implementing environmental strategies, policies, and action plans.</div><br>
<div>•      Providing leadership, management, and direction to the team, ensuring we have the resources needed for success.</div><br>
<div>•      Managing budgets and securing funding to support sustainability initiatives.</div><br>
<div>•      Creating comprehensive reporting mechanisms to track progress and performance.</div><br>
<div>•      Leading engagement efforts, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.</div><br>
<div>•      Developing transport and biodiversity strategies in alignment with our goals.</div><br>
<div>•      Implementing an environmental sustainability training program for all staff and students.</div><br>
<div>•      Setting and updating targets to achieve our sustainability commitments.</div><br>
<div>•      Offering professional advice to improve services impacting carbon and biodiversity.</div><br>

<div><strong>To Be Successful You'll Need:</strong></div><br>

<div>•      Degree in an environmental science-related area.</div><br>
<div>•      Proven management experience and leadership skills.</div><br>
<div>•      Extensive experience in environmental management and assessment.</div><br>
<div>•      Strong influencing and communication skills.</div><br>
<div>•      Previous experience in sustainability within a large organization.</div><br>
<div>•      Outstanding oral and written communication skills.</div><br>
<div>•      A positive attitude with a focus on evidence-based solutions.</div><br>
