<p></p><div>We are seeking a Research Associate in Climate Financial Risk, Oxford Sustainable Finance Group (OxSFG) to work on research projects to deliver the next generation of stress tests and scenarios to enhance the resilience of the global financial system to climate and environmental risks.</div><br>

<div>The postholder will report to the Head of Transition Finance Research. The researcher will work in close partnership with central banks, supervisors, financial institutions, policymakers, and international organizations. A major focus of this work would be in developing countries, such as India and Thailand, where OxSFG has ongoing research projects, in collaboration with respective central banks.</div><br>

<div>The role is strongly balanced towards research, but with opportunities for gaining teaching experience. The postholder will contribute to existing research projects and help create new ones in collaboration with the Head of Transition Research. The postholder will have the opportunity to attend international conferences and workshops relevant to their work and potentially also participate in short-term secondments with our partners.</div><br>

<div>The successful candidate must hold or be close to completion of, a PhD/DPhil in a relevant subject with post-qualification research experience. You will have expertise in climate stress testing, climate risk scenario analysis, and financial modelling; ideally demonstrated via a track record of high-quality publications. You will have the ability to contribute ideas for new research projects and research income generation.</div><br>

<div>This is a full-time post (we may consider fractional appointments) for 24 months.</div><br>
