As the Head of Teaching and Learning Enhancement at Oxford Said, you'll be at
the forefront of shaping the School's commitment to teaching excellence. This
senior role demands an experienced educational development professional who
can lead a dynamic approach to teaching strategy. Collaborating closely with
faculty, program teams, and senior leadership, you will play a pivotal role in
creating an outstanding learning experience.
Key responsibilities:
\- Partner in the development of strategic planning and lead the operational
implementation of priorities for Teaching and Learning Enhancement.
\- Provide confidential and trusted advice for faculty on professional
development, prioritizing those in the initial period of office.
\- Act as a specialist advisor on curriculum, assessment structure, and
program design.
\- Lead the development and delivery of faculty inductions, development plans,
and teaching development activities.
\- Engage with the University’s Centre for Teaching and Learning, contributing
to the educational development of academic staff.
