**About the Role**





This is an important role that will extract, analyse, produce and deliver
workforce information to support the HR operational management, policy
development, and the completion of statutory and important returns for the
University.



**About You**





You will be a confident and capable analyst, with proven advanced skills in
the use of MS Excel to manipulate large amounts of data as well as experience
of extracting data and producing customised reports from databases.





You will need to demonstrate previous experience of working in a role which
required high levels of data accuracy and excellent attention to detail.





You will also be adept at working collaboratively with the wider HR Systems
team to participate in data quality exercises, monitoring data quality, and
assisting users in addressing any data quality issues as required.





Having experience of working with SQL, Tableau, R, Alteryx, or other similar
tools would be an advantage but is not essential.





Having experience of working in the HE sector and/or in HR or a related field
e.g. payroll, recruitment, pensions would be an advantage but is not
essential.





We will also consider an internal secondment for a minimum of 12 months for
internal applicant candidates wishing to gain valuable analytics experience in
the University HR team.





**We will be conducting interviews throughout this process and hold the right
to close applications early should we find a suitable candidate.**
