Postdoctoral Research Associate in Operator Algebras

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Operator Algebras to work with Professor Stuart White at the Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford. The position is full time, fixed-term for three years, and supported by a grant from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), grant reference EP/X026647/1. We anticipate the start-date for this position to be at the beginning of the 2024-25 academic year, with the earliest start-date being 01 September 2024.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The successful candidate will be part of a research group with responsibility for carrying out research in operator algebras and related fields as part of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) grant <em>&#8220;Classification, Structure, Amenability and Regularity&#8221;</em> (<em>EP/X026647/1</em>). They will be expected to conduct research in operator algebras and related fields which falls within the remit of this large-scale project and will have the opportunity to do so independently and/or collaboratively with other members of the group at Oxford and/or other mathematicians internationally. They are expected to provide informal mentorship of D.
