**About the Role**
We seeking a Bioinformatician to take the lead in providing bioinformatics

disease cohorts across BRC themes such as infection, rheumatology, hepatology
and informatic researchers (for example in the fields of statistical genetics
and machine learning).
Whilst the role is a Grade 8 position, we would be willing to consider
candidates with potential but less experience who are seeking a development
opportunity, for which the appointment would be at Grade 7: £36,024 - £44,263

discussed with applicants at interview/appointment where appropriate.

demonstrable experience, ability to process and analyse gene expression data
sets (such as array and RNA sequencing datasets), exome and genome sequencing
data, and practical success in biostatistics or bioinformatics. It would also
be desirable if you had cross-disciplinary collaborative experience.
