Communications Officer (Research)

The successful applicant will be keen to engage with the many issues and opportunities that arise in our world-leading, internationally recognised Medical Sciences Division, and be a pivotal member of the friendly, welcoming and supportive team.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The role holder will report to the Head of Communications and have a specific focus on supporting the Research Strategy and Funding team&#8217;s strategic research theme in Global Health. The role holder will actively raise the profile and visibility of Oxford Global Health both internally and externally, and will produce high-quality, engaging content for websites, social media and internal communications, assist with promoting events, support the development of thematic networks, and identify opportunities to progress the team&#8217;s objectives.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The successful applicant will have proven communications or marketing experience, as well as demonstrable experience working simultaneously across multiple projects, managing varied deadlines, and prioritising workload effectively. You will be adept at maintaining open, clear communication with theme leads and other relevant stakeholders, and the ability to confidently, and sometimes independently, advocate for the use of best practice communication methods (rather than just jumping on trends). The role holder should have a good knowledge of digital communications and experience working with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
