We have an exciting opportunity to join the IT Services Department as a
Business Analyst (Digital Innovation) working hybrid, 60/40/office.

**About the Role**
* This is an exciting role for someone with a passion for new technologies and digital innovation. You will lead business analysis activities to promote new technologies across the University of Oxford. You will also be a part of a small, dynamic team that supports early-stage innovation and facilitates the exploration and exploitation of new technologies across the University.
* As a Business Analyst (Digital Innovation), you'll collaborate with the Head of Digital Innovation, leading business analysis activities to accelerate digital innovation. This involves ensuring best practices are delivered, maintained, and shared, covering areas such as Business Analysis Planning and monitoring, Requirement Management and communication, Enterprise Analysis, Requirement Analysis, and Solution Assessment and validation. Your role will also require a deep understanding of business issues impacting digital innovation and data challenges in the University and Higher Education sector.
The core competencies for this role include:
* Supporting the Head of Digital Innovation planning the Business Analysis approach,
* Selecting appropriate techniques to embed digital innovation, evaluating project complexity, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.
* Manage the requirement management process and identify + communicate risks and issues that may require changes to plans or scope.
* You will also be responsible for defining the business need, understanding the overall business structure, strategy, and overall impact on work efforts, and determining the solution approach.
* The role reports to Head of Digital Innovation and you will be working closely with other members of the department and University. We see this as an exciting and important area for the future of IT at Oxford.

innovation to join our small, dynamic team. As a successful candidate, you'll
be educated to degree level or equivalent, possessing business analysis
experience. Your ability to manage business relationships, adhere to project
deadlines, and consistently deliver high-quality services will set you apart.

objectives, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Your enthusiasm for digital innovation will drive activities that enhance
technology use and improve business processes across the University. Join us
