<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div><strong>Fixed-term, available from 01/04/2024 until 31/05/2028, Full-time</strong></div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>An opportunity is offered for an ambitious and enthusiastic candidate to work as Laboratory Manager in the group of Prof. Armin Lak, group that work together to gain a quantitative circuit-level understanding of neuronal mechanisms subserving learning and decision-making.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The Lak group is composed of researchers with a wide range of background from cellular neuroscience to mathematics. The approach is to employ state-of-the-art circuit tools, including high-count electrophysiology, two-photon imaging and optogenetics, in combination with highly-controlled behavioural tasks in animal models, and computational modelling.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Duties include managing laboratory spaces and stocks and placing consumables orders; adapting existing and developing new scientific techniques and experimental protocols; acting as a source of information and advice to other members of the group on scientific protocols and experimental techniques; maintaining a high level of operational efficiency; training group members in use of equipment and experimental techniques; conducting laboratory work and supervising laboratory work of students.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will have previous laboratory experience particularly in neuroscience wet lab, or neuroscience software development and experience leading administrative laboratory duties.
