<div><strong>About the Role</strong></div><br>
<div>Our IP Rights Specialists play an important research facilitation role by enabling the translation of research outputs into real world products and solutions.  You will manage a portfolio of cases relating to research outputs and be responsible for establishing whether parties outside the University contributed to the underlying research work by liaising with academics, technology transfer partners, research funders, external collaborators to acquire sufficient information to understand the context of a situation and to assess potential risks and requirements.</div><br>

<div>As a result, you will then review, draft and negotiate appropriate agreements with those contributors where required to ensure a satisfactory outcome for both parties and that the terms fall within the University’s legal, policy and risk management framework and protect the researchers' interests.</div><br>

<div><strong>About You</strong></div><br>
<div>To be successful in this varied and interesting role, you will need to be someone who strives for excellence and enjoys providing high quality customer service. You will have great communication skills, and be confident in the ability to communicate to members of the public, students and academic staff with courtesy and politeness. You will also have a positive attitude with a flexible and adaptable approach to your work, and be comfortable when priorities suddenly need to change.</div><br>
