Deputy Business Manager

<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>The RDM Clinical Laboratory Sciences Division is looking for a Deputy Business Manager.&#160; This is a key role in the administrative structure of NDCLS, one of five divisions situated within the Radcliffe Department of Medicine (RDM).</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The role is designed to support the Divisional Business Manager in proactively and efficiently managing the operational needs of NDCLS across a wide range of business functions including but not limited to personnel management for both academic and non-academic support staff, financial management, administration of research support activities and overseeing the division&#8217;s space and facilities.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>It is essential to the position that the applicant be educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience.&#160; They must have experience of both finance and personnel administration along with experience on HR Information Systems such as PeopleXD.&#160; It is vital that the successful candidate have the ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure ensuring to prioritise competing demands.&#160; The role includes financial management so experience of Oracle Marketplace is also essential.&#160; University administration experience and knowledge relating to the scientific environment and grant funding system would be beneficial.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>This role will offer the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to leverage and develop their strengths across a wide-ranging portfolio and to engage across different areas of the University.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>With more details in the &#8216;How to Apply&#8217; section of the job description, as part of your application you will be required to upload a CV and supporting statement that should provide evidence as to how you meet the essential criteria for the post, using examples of your skills and experience to date.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The closing date for applications is <strong>12 noon on Tuesday 13 February 2024</strong>.
