AgileLab Manager

The University of Oxford Science Park at Begbroke is looking for a Lab Manager
for its AgileLab shared-lab facility. You will be responsible for managing the
day-to day activities of the lab supporting commercial start up tenants and
promoting the space to new clients. This role includes developing plans to
expand the shared-space model as the Science Park grows.





You will have proven experience in laboratory management, good working
knowledge of Health and Safety, wet lab techniques and effective line
management skills.





The person appointed will work with university researchers and Oxfordshire
companies that require shared-working lab space and can benefit from the use
of university facilities. Our AgileLab is part of the Oxfordshire Innovation
Support for Business programme part funded through the European Regional
Development fund.





The Science Park at Begbroke is a cross-departmental research facility with
office/laboratory space for both research groups and high-tech science-based
businesses and spin-outs.





This is a fixed-term post for 2 years. The post is full-time although
applications to work 0.80 fte will be considered.
