You will provide effective support through great communication and organisational skills.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be working in a growing department within the Medical Sciences Division. The Department of Paediatrics is a world leader in child health research and hosts internationally renowned research programmes in drug development, gastroenterology, haematology, HIV, immunology, neuroimaging, neuromuscular diseases and vaccinology.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>This position is offered full-time on a fixed-term contract initially for 2 years. Part-time applications may be considered.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div><strong>About you</strong></div><br> <div>You will have a good level of numerical accuracy, and be committed to achieving both individual and team goals through excellent team working. You will have the ability to work methodically, generating high volumes of accurate work with meticulous attention to detail. You will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, and be a competent user of Microsoft Excel.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Previous experience of working in an accounting environment, within a higher education or research establishment and experience of the University&#8217;s Oracle financial system is desirable.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div><strong>Application Process</strong></div><br> <div>You will be required to upload a CV and Supporting Statement as part of your online application.
