<div><strong>About the role</strong></div><br>
<div>We are looking for a research assistant to work in the Bone Oncology Research Group, led by Prof. Claire Edwards. You will be based in the Botnar Research Centre, as your normal places of work. A major focus of the group is the role of the host microenvironment in tumour growth and the associated bone disease. You will work as part of an enthusiastic team on a project investigating how aging and adiposity impact myeloma, identifying key cellular and molecular mechanisms controlling progression of multiple myeloma. The post is funded by Blood Cancer UK.</div><br>

<div><strong>About you</strong></div><br>
<div>It is essential that you hold a degree in a medical/biological subject or equivalent, and have previous research experience, ideally in a similar research field. Experience with cell and molecular biology techniques, cancer cell and bone cell culture is essential. Experience with models of the tumour-bone microenvironment is highly desirable. Good organisational skills, inter-personal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team are essential.</div><br>
