<div>The Department of Social Policy and Intervention is seeking a Departmental Finance Officer to join our busy team in a growing department. You will manage day-to-day financial activities in accordance with university financial controls and be responsible for a wide range of financial processes.</div><br>

<div><strong>About you</strong></div><br>
<div>You will have experience of financial administration, including interpreting complex financial policies, with strong numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail. You will be familiar with using an accounting system to extract data and have strong general IT skills including Excel. A strong team player, you will be able to organise your own workload and work to monthly deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also essential, including the ability to discuss complex financial information to non-finance colleagues at all levels.</div><br>

<div>Experience of financial systems (preferably Oracle) and of working in an educational setting would also be beneficial. </div><br>

<div>You will be based in Oxford as your normal place of work however there is opportunity for remote working (up to 40%FTE). The role is being offered as full time however we would be willing to accept applications from candidates wishing to work part-time (up to 80%FTE).</div><br>
