The department has over 900 staff, students and academic visitors who work together to investigate the causes and prevention of disease and lead human health forward.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>You will be part of the NDPH Wolfson laboratory&#8217;s specialist assay laboratory, reporting to the Laboratory&#8217;s Research Fellow and will be expected to work effectively with a range of colleagues within the department as well as external collaborators. You will fulfil a representational role, dealing directly with individuals internally (i.e. Researchers and Laboratory Staff) and externally (i.e. instrument manufacturers and application specialists) to ensure a continuous high level of service.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>To be considered for this role, you will be educated to a PhD (or close to completion of) in a life science. You will have experience in of NMR or significant academic or industrial experience relevant to the post. Proven organisation and project management skills with ability to design projects, prioritise work, manage time effectively and make operational decisions are essential for this post.&#160; Experience of working with Bruker NMR instrumentation and software would be desirable.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The position is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed term for two years in the first instance.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The closing date for applications is noon on Wednesday, 6 September 2024.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div><strong>You will be required to upload a CV and a cover letter as part of your online application.
