This is an opportunity to support the development of some of the most state-
of-the-art buildings in the world, including The Stephen A. Schwarzman Centre
for the Humanities, The Old Road Campus which is at the forefront of
biomedical research, and the Henry Wellcome Building of Genomic Medicine. The
role will also involve time spent outside the office, working on-site,
immersed in the exciting atmosphere of world-leading construction projects.

**What You ’ll Do**
In this pivotal role, you will be an important member of our project
management team, ensuring that every project is executed seamlessly from
inception to completion. You’ll collaborate with Programme Managers and a
vibrant array of stakeholders, driving projects forward while maintaining
impeccable standards. Here’s a snapshot of your day-to-day:
• **Project Mastermind:** Dive into Concerto software and the Capital Projects
Handbook to become the go-to guide for project compliance and progress. Your
insights will keep projects on track and aligned with our university’s top-
notch processes.
• **Documentation Guru:** Juggle an extensive suite of project documents, from
financial records to legal paperwork, ensuring they’re accurate, organized,
and easily accessible.
• **Meeting Expert:** Capture every detail in meetings with rapid, precise
minute-taking, and ensure timely distribution of reports and follow-up
actions.
• **Diary Dynamo:** Manage a busy diary for a Programme Manager with finesse,
resolving conflicts and preparing essential meeting papers.
• **Administrative Ace:** Offer rock-solid support by crafting reports,
organizing workshops, and keeping our website up-to-date and engaging.
• **Financial:** Oversee purchase orders, handle invoices, and generate
financial reports with a keen eye for detail using Oracle Financial Systems.

**Essential Selection Criteria**
• **Education & Experience:** You have strong numerical, analytical, and
financial management skills. Previous experience in a complex financial
environment with construction or related fields being a plus.
• **Skills:** Your communication is top-notch, whether it's writing reports or
engaging with stakeholders. You’re a whiz with MS Office, and your
organisational skills are amazing.
• **Attributes:** You’re proactive and thrive in solving problems. Discretion
and professionalism are second nature to you, and you’re eager to contribute
to a high-performing team.
**Desirable Selection Criteria**
• Experience working in a construction industry-based environment or related
professional office.
• A professional qualification or training in project management techniques
• Experience of computer systems administration.
• OCR/RSA level 2-word processing or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of MS Project.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Financials
