We’re looking for someone who can make a real difference to the services we
deliver to the staff and students in the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust
and University of Oxford Medical Sciences Division.
**About the role**
We are looking for an Administrator, working in the Bodleian Health Care

The Bodleian Health Care Libraries (BHCL) fall within the Science and Medicine
group of libraries, and are located at three sites in Headington: The John

The Libraries’ main users are staff and clinical students from the University
of Oxford, and NHS staff in the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Working as part of the BHCL, the post holder will be responsible for the day-
to-day administration of the Bodleian Health Care Libraries with some support
as required for the Radcliffe Science Library (RSL), part of the MSD & MPLS
Bodleian Libraries. The post holder will work under the Deputy Head of MSD and
MPLS libraries.
This is a part-time, fixed-term position, working 29.2 hours per week until 31
March 2027, based at the Cairns Library, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
**About You**
You will cover administrative, financial and some physical space functions as
well as liaison with other University departments, NHS departments and
external contractors and suppliers.
You will need experience of administrative and office work, and excellent
interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external departments within
the university and NHS.
**What We Offer**
Benefits include extensive training and development opportunities, access to
travel and childcare schemes, free entry to colleges, discounted access to
sporting facilities and a wide range of other staff discounts. For more
details, please see https://hr.admin.ox.ac.uk/staff-benefits.
**Diversity**
Our staff and students come from all over the world, and we proudly promote a
friendly and inclusive culture. Diversity is positively encouraged, through
diverse groups and champions, as well as a number of family-friendly policies,
such as the right to apply for flexible working and support for staff
returning from periods of extended absence, for example, shared parental
leave.
**How to apply**
You will be required to upload your **CV and a supporting statement (or
Supporting Evidence Form using the template provided)** as part of your online
application. Your supporting statement should list each of the essential and
desirable selection criteria, as listed in the job description, and explain
how you meet each one. CVs alone will not be considered.

and MPLS libraries who can be contacted with enquiries relating to the role
(owen.coxall@bodleian.ox.ac.uk). General queries about the recruitment and
