<div>We are seeking a Research Assistant to join the research group led by Dr Luc Rocher. This position is full time ((part-time hours will be considered) and available from 1 October, for a fixed term duration of 12 months or to 30 September 2025 (whichever is sooner). This position is based in the UK.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>The main involvement will be developing and implementing interactive visualisations methods related to research on privacy and algorithmic auditing.</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>This position is particularly suited for pre-doctoral candidates to build research skills and collaborate on research projects before applying for doctoral studies, although the skills and experience learned will be helpful to a range of positions in and outside academia.</div><br>

<div>The post holder will be expected to:</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>•    Manage their own research and administrative activities,</div><br>
<div>•    Contribute to wider project planning,</div><br>
<div>•    Select, follow, implement, and adapt specialist methodologies from machine learning, privacy, and security and</div><br>
<div>•    Contribute to the design of research materials and scientific articles</div><br>
<div> </div><br>
<div>The successful candidate will hold or be close to completion of an MSc degree in a relevant field such as social data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, or mathematics and have excellent communication skills.</div><br>
