<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>Applications are invited for a Practice Liaison Administrator to work within the Clinical Informatics and Health Outcomes Research Group (CIHORG) led by Professor Simon de Lusignan (<a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.phc.ox.ac.uk/team/simon-de-lusignan">https://www.phc.ox.ac.uk/team/simon-de-lusignan</a>). Our research group has been involved in a wide range of projects for over 15 years, focusing on how to measure quality and health outcomes from routine data, quality improvement and technology trials, integrating the use of the computer into the clinical consultation, and the surveillance of infectious diseases using routine data.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>We host the RCGP Research and Surveillance Centre (RSC), a state-of-the-art surveillance network for influenza, other infectious diseases trends and to measure vaccine effectiveness. We use routine data from nearly 2000 general practices in England. Outputs from research work will be published in peer review journals and are expected to have impact on health care delivery.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>This administrative role will support the Practice Liaison Officers in managing relationships with principal investigators and general practices, increasingly using online tools and resources. The Practice Liaison Officers work closely with collaborators, research teams and general practices to deliver studies and infectious disease surveillance. All research activities are conducted on a highly professional, performance driven basis. The Practice Liaison Administrator needs to apply good practical understanding and knowledge of the work of the group.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>This role is computer based and requires daily contact with a wide range of professionals at all levels.
