<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p></p><div>The Department of Education is looking to appoint a Research Administrator to contribute to a &#8220;feasibility trial of an adapted anti-bullying programme for children in special schools&#8221;.&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>This is an exciting opportunity for a researcher to join a feasibility randomised controlled trial of anti-bullying programme KiVa-SEND. The project will trial the new anti-bullying programme with special education schools in Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties. It will include a mixed-method approach of one-to-one and small group data collection. The project is funded by the Baily Thomas Charitable Fund and is led by Dr Julia Badger and in collaboration with Professor Lucy Bowes (University of Oxford), Professor Richard Hastings (University of Birmingham) and Professor Christina Salmivalli (University of Turku, Finland).&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>Reporting to Dr Julia Badger, the post holder will have general responsibility of administrative support; liaise with recruited schools; assist in sorting and organising pupil details and data; assist in setting-up equipment and materials for data collection; data inputting, transcribing and cleaning.&#160;</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The successful candidate will have experience of managing administrative processes and will be able to manage their own administrative activities within provided guidelines. They must have experience using standard computer programmes (e.g., Microsoft Office) and be able to manage a database. Experience working in / with schools, and experiencing transcribing qualitative data are both desirable.</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The post if offered on a part-time basis at 3.65 hours per week (0.1 FTE).</div><br> <div>&#160;</div><br> <div>The closing date for applications is midday on Friday 8 November 2024. Only applications received by this deadline will be considered.&#160; Interviews are likely to be held as soon as possible thereafter.</div> </div>
