This is a senior level position to which we are looking to recruit a policy-
focused and experienced researcher with knowledge and expertise in the field
of energy demand and use. The ideal candidate will have considerable
experience of policy focused research, a commensurate track record of
publications in peer-reviewed journals, and a track record in funded research
and engagement.
You will have a strong established record of scientific achievement and

responsibility for the development of the programme’s strategic direction,
contributing to the overarching vision and managing staff performance. The
post holder will be expected to undertake the role of Principal Investigator
on research projects, demonstrating and providing academic leadership to more

to work closely with colleagues in the area of environmental sustainability is
vital.
The post is available for five years in the first instance.
