**About the role**
The Department of Social Policy and Intervention is seeking a Finance Manager
to join our Global Parenting Initiative. You will lead on and manage the
project budget through effective and efficient monitoring and control,
ensuring compliance with all relevant funders, partner organisations and
financial regulations in the UK and Global South. The GPI Finance Manager
holds a core leadership position within the management team and provides an
exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic, international team, dedicated to
improving the lives of children across the globe.
The role will be based in Oxford with opportunities for remote working within
the UK.
**About you**
As a skilled finance professional, you will have significant experience
working in financial roles, with demonstrable skills across financial
planning. You will support the Principal Investigator (PI) through quarterly
forecasting, annual budgeting plus reporting, and longer-term financial
planning. You will have the ability to understand complex regulations and
translate them into day-to-day working practices. You will have excellent
communication skills and experience in building collaborative relationships,
and refined negotiating and influencing skills.
